Detection of cash balances sitting in a low-interest everyday account for longer than the customer's typical spending pattern would require. The analytics layer computes each customer's expected spending buffer based on historical transaction data and flags balances above that threshold as "idle". An insight card is generated suggesting a sweep to savings, with the potential monthly interest gain quantified.
