Regulations: RBNZ Prudential Returns · Banking Act 1959 ¶

Purpose¶

Govern the platform's obligations to submit statistical and survey returns to RBNZ and APRA, including the RBNZ Statistical Returns, APRA Economic and Financial Statistics (EFS), and related data collections.

Scope¶

All statistical and survey reporting obligations to RBNZ and APRA arising from the platform's banking activities in NZ and AU.

Policy statements¶

The platform SHALL submit all required statistical returns to RBNZ in accordance with the schedules, formats, and definitions specified by RBNZ in its Statistical Reporting requirements. Submissions SHALL be made by the published due dates.

The platform SHALL submit all required EFS collections to APRA in accordance with APRA's reporting standards and submission schedules. Submissions SHALL be made by the published due dates.

All statistical return data SHALL be sourced from the governed reporting pipeline in accordance with REP-001. Shadow datasets and manual recalculations outside the governed pipeline SHALL be prohibited.

Data submitted in statistical returns SHALL reconcile to the platform's internal management accounts and regulatory capital reports. Material reconciling items SHALL be documented and reported to the CFO.

The platform SHALL maintain a register of all statistical reporting obligations, including the submitting entity, frequency, next due date, and responsible officer.

Errors identified in submitted statistical returns SHALL be notified to RBNZ or APRA and a corrected submission made within the timeframe required by the relevant regulator.

The CCO and CFO SHALL jointly sign off on the annual statistical reporting schedule before the commencement of each reporting year.
