Manages the complete post-origination state of a loan account — current, arrears, hardship, default, written-off — transitioning states automatically based on payment history and operational actions. Each transition triggers downstream events: impairment updates in MOD-031, customer communications in MOD-063, and ops queue items in MOD-064. No loan state is changed without a corresponding journal entry.
